Fundraising is fun at KISTival

K. International School Tokyo comes alive each year in October with a colorful celebration that brings together the entire school community.

KISTival, the annual school festival, is the largest and most important fundraising activity held during the school year and is the result of weeks of careful planning by parents, students and staff. Funds raised at the festival are put towards specific purchases or projects aimed at improving the general learning environment.

More than 3,000 visitors passed through the gates at this year’s KISTival which featured an extensive range of international foods, stage performances, games booths, a bazaar, special guests and the always popular grand raffle. Adding to the fun, visitors dressed up in colorful costumes, many of which depicted Halloween favorites, but there were also many other amazing characters.
