Pretty in Pink

Faculty joined students in wearing the color pink to show their stance on bullying at Canadian Academy, a private preK-12 international school in Kobe. In Canada, a male student was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school one day. The next day, many students supported him by wearing pink.

At Canadian Academy, we do not tolerate bullying. Students are taught to stand up to bullies and to empathize with others, finding what we have in common rather than focusing on differences.
This was the second year we have worn pink. We hope you will join us next year!
