Aoba-Japan International hosts Singapore’s Bedok North students

Students from Japan and Singapore making friends at Aoba-Japan International School. A-JIS

Students visiting from Bedok North Secondary School in Singapore recently paid a visit to Aoba-Japan International School (A-JIS). Approximately 30 eighth and ninth graders from Bedok North School, on a five-day visit to Japan, stopped by A-JIS to say hello and spend some time getting to know Aoba students.

Bedok students spent time learning a bit about Japan and what it’s like to be an international school student in Tokyo. Aoba students acted as excellent hosts, touring the visitors around the school and answering their questions. Time was short, but the students quickly became friends, exchanging email addresses and social networking information. The experience was great for students from both schools, extending friendships beyond borders.
