Show and Tell at J’s

J’s International School students getting ready for Show and Tell time. J’s INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Teachers often find that September is one of the most rewarding times of the year; they watch children move up to their new classes, form new friendships, and settle into new routines. Like parents and children, teachers often feel a bit anxious before school starts. At J’s International School, staff found their minds put at ease as the children greeted their teachers with beaming smiles. Some hadn’t seen their teachers in months, some had seen them just the week before, but the one thing everyone had in common was the fact that they had all matured so much.

A weekly highlight for the Clever Cat and Ready Rabbit classes is Show and Tell time, which takes place every Friday and is an important time for children to practise presenting special experiences or items to peers. The children accumulate their items in a special treasure box, and the excitement builds as the box fills. A question and answer period after each presentation gives the whole class a chance to find out a bit more. — MANA ORTIZ
