St. Alban’s Nursery’s seasonal celebrations

February was a fantastic month at St. Alban’s Nursery, with an awesome Valentine’s Party and lots and lots of snow to play with. The students just couldn’t ask for any more fun!

March will start with the Japanese celebration of Girls’ Day. Children will learn the “Hina Matsuri Song” in Japanese, and try a few Japanese sweet delicacies like the pink, white, and green cakes — pink for cherry blossoms, white for melting snow, and green for the new leaves after the blossoms. Everybody is looking forward to spring’s arrival.

The school will then move on to celebrate one of its favourite holidays — St. Patrick’s Day. Everyone will come to school wearing green on that day and be excited to see what the leprechauns have up their sleeves this year!
