Goals Our main goal is for students to use English to communicate with their peers and teachers. Students who stay with us for three or four years should be able to pass the fourth, most times, and fifth grades of the STEP Eiken Test. We teach our students how to read and write at an early age. This helps the students transition into the Japanese public school system and still study English at a competitive rate. Past graduates of our preschool program have passed the third and pre-second grades of the STEP Eiken Test in grade 1 of elementary school, and the second grade of the STEP Eiken Test in grade 2 or 3 of elementary school.
