As the world continues to shrink, an international education is becoming increasingly valuable for creating positive change in the world. The next generation are being left with a startling number of big questions: “How do we ensure that every person on the planet has access to clean water?” “How do we curb global warming?” “What’s the formula for sustainable development?”
Students can be empowered to take up these challenges by not only addressing such topics within the four walls of the classroom, but also by being exposed to these issues as they occur in the real world. Learning about world hunger in school is a vastly different lesson from the one learned while establishing a feeding program for starving drought victims. Today’s students can actively pursue their global citizenship by connecting directly with people, places, and cultures that are vastly different from their own.
Every year, thousands of students from top schools around the world participate in truly life-changing experiences with Rustic Pathways.
